New regulations require safety vests for media working along federal roads

Regulations established by the DOT, effective Nov. 24, will require all media representatives working within the rights-of-way of federal-aid highways to wear high-visibility safety garments.

Orange vests that meet the requirement are available from the National Newspaper Association for $15 ($17 for XXL and larger). More info here.
