Dog Adoption

A celebration was held for the first six Chihuahuas to be adopted in the Dearborn Animal Shelter parking lot on Aug. 6, 2009. The six are among 105 Chihuahuas and Chihuahua mixes rescued in July from a cramped, filthy Dearborn house; bodies of another 100 were found frozen in freezers.
